Advancing Azure service quality with artificial intelligence: AIOps

Microsoft has created an AIOps team to collaborate broadly across Azure engineering teams and partnered with Microsoft Research to develop AI solutions to make cloud service management more efficient and more reliable than ever before. 

Commvault Announces Microsoft Azure Strategic Partnership

Commvault has announced a multi-year agreement with Microsoft to integrate its Metallic Software-as-a-Service portfolio with Microsoft Azure. The partnership will tightly integrate go-to-market, engineering, and sales.

Azure Firewall Manager is now generally available

Azure Firewall Manager is now generally available and includes Azure Firewall Policy, Azure Firewall in a Virtual WAN Hub (Secure Virtual Hub), and Hub Virtual Network. Microsoft also introduced several new capabilities to Firewall Manager and Firewall Policy to align with the standalone Azure Firewall configuration capabilities.

Microsoft continues to build out its Azure Cognitive Services API family

Microsoft is continuing to add to its growing stable of AI services by adding more Cognitive Services application programming interfaces. The idea behind Azure Cognitive Services is to enable developers to use an API call in building their apps to add sight, speech, search, and other AI capabilities without having to master machine learning techniques first.
